Wilding Out offers micro walking retreats that feed body and soul with meaningful miles, beautiful landscapes, and food worth walking for.

By participating in a micro retreat with Wilding Out, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions:

Safety, risks and insurance

  • Outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven ground, weather conditions, slips, trips, falls, and other hazards. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree that Wilding Out shall not be held liable for any injuries, losses, damages, or expenses arising during the retreat, except where caused by negligence.
  • Participants are responsible for their own safety and must follow the instructions and guidance provided by retreat leaders and instructors at all times.
  • Wilding Out will take all reasonable steps to assess the safety and suitability of routes, terrain, and activities in advance; however, conditions outdoors may change quickly, and participants must exercise their own judgment throughout.
  • All Wilding Out retreat leaders hold the Hill & Moorland Leader qualification and are trained in Outdoor First Aid.

Payments, cancellations, changes and refunds

  • A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received in full, the participant has completed the required waiver form, and these Terms and Conditions have been agreed to.

However, participants may transfer their place to another date with a minimum of 14 days’ notice, or transfer their booking to another person with at least 48 hours’ notice and at the discretion of Wilding Out.
  • Wilding Out reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a retreat due to weather, safety concerns, staff illness, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered either a transfer to another date or a full refund.
  • If a participant chooses not to attend due to weather conditions no refund will be issued.
  • Wilding Out may change the starting location, route, timings, or structure of a retreat where required due to weather, safety, participant readiness, kit suitability, or any other operation reason.

Physical health and participation

  • Participants must be in suitable physical health to take part. It is each participant’s own responsibility to evaluate their medical and physical readiness before booking and attending.
  • Participants must disclose any relevant medical conditions, disabilities, injuries, or additional support needs at the time of booking so that reasonable adjustments can be considered.
  • Wilding Out is not responsible for any injuries, medical issues, or damages that occur during the retreat except where caused by negligence.
