Hi, I’m Roseann (aka Zanny). For most of my life, I’ve lived fast, full and firmly scheduled. It was exciting and full of good things, but over time I started to realise how easily the small moments that make life feel rich and meaningful can get squeezed out by the pace of everyday life.

So, I started choosing differently.

I’ve been leaning more into the things that genuinely nourish me: time outdoors, meaningful conversation, movement, thoughtfully shared food, simple pleasures and the kind of moments that help you feel more like yourself again.

And Wilding Out grew from that shift.

What started as guided walking retreats has evolved into a collection of outdoor experiences designed to help people step away from the noise for a while and reconnect – with nature, with each other and with themselves.

From Wild Workplace Retreats and Networking in Nature to sunrise walks, community gatherings and seasonal experiences outdoors, Wilding Out is all about creating meaningful experiences in beautiful places. The kind where conversations flow more easily, fresh air clears your head, food tastes better outdoors and you return home or to the workplace feeling lighter, calmer and more grounded.

I’m a qualified Hill and Moorland Leader and, while Gloucestershire may not have dramatic mountains or vast moorlands, it is full of beautiful hills, hidden valleys, ancient woodlands and wide open views that are perfect for slowing down, finding perspective and enjoying a few simple pleasures along the way.

Our outdoor experiences are designed at a steady, comfortable pace that most people will find manageable, with time to pause, talk and take in the landscape – and there’s always time for thoughtfully shared food along the way.

We create space for connection, movement and simple pleasures outdoors, whether that’s through guided walks, workplace retreats or relaxed seasonal gatherings in nature.

Because we explore real countryside, you can expect natural terrain: uneven paths, mud, hills and the occasional stile, but nothing rushed or high-pressure. It’s about slowing down, not pushing through.
