your moment away

At Wilding Out, micro-retreats are designed to give you a meaningful break from everyday life without needing a long trip or a full weekend away. Each retreat combines time in nature with great food, small groups and space to switch off. They’re practical, grounding and enjoyable – a chance to slow down, reset and return home feeling clearer, lighter and more connected.

If you’re curious about Wilding Out but looking for something shorter or more informal, our free monthly Shared Moments Walk offers a gentle way to experience it. You can find upcoming retreats and walks on the link below.

Saturday 14 March 2026

Step away from the busy week and join a short monthly guided outdoor walk designed to bring clarity, wellbeing, and shared moments. We’ll walk at a comfortable pace, pause for reflection, and enjoy the chance to connect with nature – and each other. This walk starts and ends at The Farmer’s Yard in Arlingham, giving everyone the option relax, enjoy a drink or snack, and continue enjoying each other’s company once the walking is done. These walks are completely free and open to anyone looking for a little breathing space and connection in the outdoors.

Signature micro retreat in may hill

Saturday 18 April 2026

A signature micro retreat around May Hill in bluebell season – a beautiful route, shared moments, food worth walking for and time outdoors together. This route was chosen for those who love walking among trees. It wanders through woodland at the foot of May Hill, passes through the quiet village, and then gently climbs to the top. At this time of year the hillside is covered in bluebells, and you may spot belted Galloways and wild horses along the way. From the summit there are wide 360°. May Hill is also full of stories and has long been a landmark for travellers – a place that feels grounding and quietly timeless.

SIGNATURE MICRO RETREAT IN guiting wood

Sunday 10 May 2026

A signature micro retreat through Guiting Wood – a beautiful route, shared moments, food worth walking for and time outdoors together. I chose this route for its lovely wide woodland paths. Most of where we walk sits within the Farmcote Estate, which is incredibly well looked after – you can feel that care in the landscape. We pass close to the estate itself, which is pretty grand, and we’re also near the Salt Way, an old historic trade route that’s been used for centuries. To me, it’s just proper Cotswold countryside – the kind of place that makes it easy to slow down and enjoy being out here. Sunday 10 May.
