Wilding Out creates guided outdoor experiences designed to help people slow down, reconnect, and gain perspective through movement, nature, and shared moments.

By participating in a Wilding Out experience, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.

Safety, Risk & Insurance

  • Outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven ground, weather conditions, slips, trips, falls, and other natural hazards. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree that Wilding Out shall not be held liable for any injuries, losses, damages or expenses arising during the activity, except where caused by negligence.
  • Participants are responsible for their own safety and wellbeing and must follow the guidance and instructions provided by Wilding Out leaders at all times.
  • Wilding Out will take all reasonable steps to assess the safety and suitability of routes, terrain and activities in advance; however, conditions outdoors may change quickly and participants must exercise their own judgment throughout.
  • Wilding Out activities take place outdoors in a variety of weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by the organiser.
  • All Wilding Out leaders hold appropriate outdoor leaderships and first aid qualifications relevant to the activities being delivered.

Wellbeing Disclaimer

  • Wilding Out experiences are designed to support general wellbeing, connection and time outdoors, but they do not constitute therapy, counselling, medical advice or mental health treatment.

Payments, Bookings, Cancellations & refunds

  • A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received in full, the participant has completed the required waiver forms and these Terms and Conditions have been agreed to.
  • Bookings are non-refundable as Wilding Out begins incurring costs from the point of booking, including planning, preparation, administration, route recce, resources and catering where applicable.
  • Participants may transfer their booking to another date with a minimum of 14 days’ notice, subject to availability.
  • Participants may transfer their booking to another person with at least 48 hours’ notice and at the discretion of Wilding Out.
  • Wilding Out reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule an activity due to weather, safety concerns, staff illness, low participant numbers or unforeseen circumstances. In these cases, participants will be offered either a transfer to another date or a full refund.
  • If a participant chooses not to attend due to weather conditions, no refund will be issued.
  • Wilding Out reserves the right to amend routes, timings, meeting locations, activities or the structure of an event where necessary for safety, operational, environmental or participant wellbeing reasons.

Physical Health & Participation

  • Participants must ensure they are physically and medically able to take part in the activity they have booked.
  • It is each participant’s responsibility to assess their own fitness, mobility and readiness before attending.
  •  Participants must disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, disabilities, allergies, pregnancy/postnatal considerations or additional support needs at the time of booking so that reasonable adjustments can be considered where possible.
  • Wilding Out is not responsible for any injuries, illness, loss or damages occurring during participation expect where caused by negligence.
  • Wilding Out reserves the right to refuse or end participation, without refund, where safety, medical, behavioural or wellbeing concerns arise, including intoxication or unsuitable fitness, clothing or equipment.

Clothing, Kit & Equipment

  • Participants are responsible for arriving with appropriate clothing, footwear, food, water and equipment as outlined in the joining instructions.
  • If, in judgement of the activity leader, a participant’s clothing or equipment poses a safety risk, Wilding Out reserves the right to refuse participation without refund.

Children & Dependent Attendees

  • Children attending Wilding Out activities remain the responsibility of their parent or carer at all times.
  • Parents/carers are responsible for ensuring children are appropriately supervised, dressed and physically able to participate safely.
  • Wilding Out reserves the right to adapt or end participation where safety concerns arise.

Respectful Participation

  • Wilding Out aims to create welcoming, respectful and inclusive outdoor spaces for all participants.
  • Disruptive, unsafe, aggressive, discriminatory or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the activity without refund.

Photography & Media

  • Wilding Out may occasionally take photographs or videos during activities for promotional and marketing purposes, including use on social media, websites, and printed materials.
  • Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs or videos should inform Wilding Out before the activity begins.

Age Requirements

  • Unless otherwise stated, participants must be aged 18 or over to attend Wilding Out experiences independently.
