small retreats with big impact

Our micro walking retreats fit real life. They are short enough to make time for, yet deep enough to shift how you feel. They weave movement, nature, connection and nourishing food into a few intentional hours that offer a gentle adventure through beautiful landscapes, giving you space to breathe, reset, and return to what matters.

slow-living

from busy to wild

Hi, I’m Roseann (aka Zanny). For most of my life, I’ve lived fast, full and firmly scheduled. It was exciting and full of good things, but over time I realised that busyness comes with a cost – the small moments, the deep breaths, the connections and experiences that make life rich were being squeezed out by a never-ending to-do list.

So, I started choosing differently.

I’m leaning into the things that bring me genuine joy: meaningful connection, time outdoors, nourishing food, gentle adventure and the soft magic of slow living. And Wilding Out is my way of sharing that with others.

Wilding Out offers micro walking retreats designed to feed both body and soul with thoughtfully guided miles through beautiful landscapes, peppered with great conversation, scenic pauses and food worth walking for.

I’m a qualified Hill and Moorland Leader. While Gloucestershire may not have vast moorlands, it is rich with hills, valleys, woodlands and hidden corners that are perfect for stepping away from the everyday and into nature.

So, come and Wild Out with me.

is this for me?

Wilding Out is for anyone craving a breather from everyday life. Our walks move at a steady, comfortable pace that most people will find manageable, with time to pause, chat and take in the view – and of course, a pitstop or two for food worth walking for. Because we explore real countryside, you can expect natural terrain: uneven paths, mud, hills and the occasional stile – but nothing rushed or high-pressure. Come on your own or with a friend, you’ll be welcomed just as you are, with good company, fresh air and space to reset.
